As a full service law firm, Sirote & Permutt is ideally qualified to help client companies in any stage of development, from formation, to growth, to IPO and beyond. We help create, finance and protect market advantage, build strategic partnerships, and maximize current and future value.

We are accustomed to providing the strategic and substantive advice needed by corporate clients for the achievement of their business goals including structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing transactions. We handle all types of M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, joint venture and other strategic alliance transactions, public and private offerings and other securities matters, contract drafting and negotiation, and formation of investment vehicles.

Our attorneys regularly provide guidance to businesses and their owners in structuring effective business plans, forming new enterprises, negotiating acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, and unwinding business arrangements. Members of our group are experienced in business transactions and familiar with the legal and business tax issues facing companies. We are committed to providing efficient and cost-effective legal advice. The primary goal of the group is to craft innovative, sophisticated solutions that allow clients to meet their business goals while managing tax costs.

Attorneys draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts including construction, computer software, employment, and contracts for lease, acquisition or disposition of equipment or real estate. They often draft and negotiate franchise, distribution and service agreements and documents relating to the organization, purchase or sale of assets of business entities. The firm assists clients in obtaining, registering and enforcing trademarks and copyrights and counsels them on how best to protect their intellectual property. Sirote & Permutt attorneys are experienced at representing businesses before municipal, county, state and federal authorities, licensing boards and regulatory agencies.

Lawyers in the group will typically work closely with clients other professional advisors -- such as accountants, valuation experts, and financial planners. In many cases, business lawyers will work with other lawyers in the firm who may be familiar with the client’s affairs from a corporate, real estate, or financing perspective.
