Sirote & Permutt's statewide collections practice has a proven record of success for clients. Using the most up-to-date computerized systems and automated processes available, our attorneys and support personnel are efficient in processing clients' commercial receivables with the most individualized attention and care possible. With significant experience in recovering assets across a wide range of industries, we use our team's collective knowledge to plan the best strategic approach for each and every collection matter.

Our collection department recovers outstanding debt and collateral for banking clients, as well as finance and leasing companies. We also provide legal collection services for our clients in the materials, equipment and manufacturing sectors. The Sirote commercial division recovers commercial receivables and coordinates the national and international forwarding and receiving of collection cases. Our real estate division's services include rent collection, commercial and residential evictions, foreclosures, ejectment proceedings, materialmen's liens and bond claims.

In our collection efforts on behalf of clients, our services range from demand letters to payment through negotiated settlement, litigation and post judgment collection practice. Services are provided in both state and federal court and for both in-state and out-of-state creditors. Sirote attorneys also can assist in obtaining and enforcing judgments,  serving bank levies and wage garnishments, and instituting post-judgment collection proceedings and lien foreclosures. 

Two-way communications with clients is an important hallmark of our collections practice. Likewise, as collections often covers a wide range of industries and practice areas, the group regularly collaborates with other practices of the firm, including litigation, corporate, real estate, construction and corporate restructuring/bankruptcy.
