Commercial Transactions

Our firm handles a variety of real estate transactions and regularly counsels our clients in the planning, financing and development of routine as well as complex commercial ventures. These matters include negotiation and preparation of leases for all types of properties, such as offices, shopping centers and industrial warehouse buildings, and development of residential and commercial communities. Our attorneys assist clients in all aspects of real estate financing, including interim, permanent, conventional and tax free borrowings and equity participations. Our clients include real estate developers, investors, lenders and management companies in their capacity as landlords of office, retail and industrial space and mixed-use projects. We also represent retailers, professional firms and other companies seeking to lease space as tenants in these types of properties. The firm has represented both private entities and public agencies as both landlords and tenants. Our activities include representing clients in zoning, environmental and other land use matters and controversies, and negotiating owner-architect, owner-contractor and other agreements for clients involved in the construction industry.
