Dan Burnick Featured Presenter at Birmingham Bar Association CLE Seminar

Sirote shareholder Daniel J. Burnick spoke recently at a CLE seminar for the Birmingham Bar Association. The topic of his presentation was social networking and its impact on employment law, litigation, attorney-client privilege, trade secrets and domestic law.

Mr. Burnick represents businesses and business owners in labor and employment matters, as well as insurance claims. He defends clients in matters ranging from complex workforce issues to employee management. Mr. Burnick has successfully litigated trials in both state and federal courts, such as workers’ compensation cases and class actions. He is authorized to practice before the Supreme Court of Alabama; the 5th, 6th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal; and US District Courts. Mr. Burnick is the publisher of alabamaemploymentlawblog.com. In February 2011, Mr. Burnick received a winning defense verdict from a jury in the Northern District of Alabama on behalf of an Employer charged with Pregnancy Discrimination by the EEOC.
