Jack Neal to serve third consecutive term as Alabama State Bar Commissioner

Sirote attorney George M. “Jack” Neal, Jr. has been elected to serve his third consecutive term as an Alabama State Bar Commissioner for the 10th Judicial Circuit of Alabama. Neal’s three year term will commence July 1, 2010.
The Board of Bar Commissioners is composed of at least one elected representative from each judicial circuit in Alabama and is responsible for administering the affairs of the Alabama State Bar. Additionally, the Board of Bar Commissioners adopts policies pertaining to the operation of the Alabama State Bar, prescribes rules concerning admissions to the Bar and adopts and enforces rules for the conduct of member of the Bar.
At Sirote, Neal regularly serves in the capacity of mediator and arbitrator in civil cases of all kinds, excluding domestic relations. He is also certified as an appellate mediator and serves on a number of panels of neutrals. Neal also has a general civil litigation practice in both state and federal courts. Throughout the years Neal has represented many businesses and individuals including banks, lenders and financial institutions in the enforcement of their rights and also in their defense in the areas of general tort, lender liability, commercial litigation, bankruptcy , recovery of collateral and negotiations, forbearance and work outs.
