James S Williams

For more than 20 years, Jim has handled all phases of insurance litigation, primarily focusing on policies of Life, Health, Disability, Property and Casualty, and Fidelity Bonds. He has represented numerous clients as first chair litigator for insureds as well as insurers, in state and federal courts, in both jury and ERISA/non-jury trials, through verdict. Jim also handles appeals in state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court, on various insurance-related claims. Jim has represented clients in countless arbitrations involving both group and individual policies. Most recently, Jim obtained and collected a multiple six-figure jury verdict for a client pursuing a commercial construction case where the opposition's property and casualty insurer was disputing coverage.
