Kyle chairs Sirote's Labor & Employment Group. He represents employers in all types of employment litigation and tries cases in state and federal courts and before arbitrators. For example, in 2009, Kyle obtained a defense verdict from a jury in federal court on a claim of discrimination and retaliation under the American With Disabilities Act. His employment litigation practice includes the defense of employers in claims of employment discrimination and harassment, wage and hour cases, claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act and suits for retaliatory discharge under the Alabama Workers' Compensation Act.

  • Drafts and enforces employment contracts, including non-disclosure and non-competition agreements.
  • Counsels employers on labor and employment issues to ensure compliance with applicable law and reduce exposure to litigation.
  • Provides training to managers and human resources professionals on employment law issues.
