R. Ryan Daugherty

Ryan’s practice focuses primarily on Real Property litigation matters and related issues, including mortgage banking litigation, commercial and residential landlord tenant law, evictions, ejectments, post-foreclosure issues, real property disputes, title issues, commercial lease drafting and negotiation, and materialman's liens and bond claims. Ryan also works extensively in the areas of account collection, contract disputes, and construction litigation. Ryan has recently been involved in several cases involving significant post-foreclosure litigation issues. The result of one of these cases was a decision by the Alabama Supreme Court clarifying Alabama's law for ejectment lawsuits and overruling four previous cases.
