Richard helps clients manage the legal issues of doing business. He represents businesses, lenders and government entities, assisting them with real estate transactions, loan closings, tax-exempt financings, ownership transitions, risk management, insurance coverage issues and general litigation. In addition to representing Alabama entities directly, he serves as local counsel to entities doing business in Alabama, in cooperation with their primary out-of-state counsel. He also writes title insurance, as an agent for national insurers.
