Peter Wright Appointed to Homewood City Council

Sirote & Permutt Attorney Peter Wright was selected from a number of candidates to fill a position on the Homewood City Council. Mr. Wright represents Ward 5 in Homewood and is a 15-year resident of Homewood. Mr. Wright was sworn-in on February 14 and commented:

“I am humbled, honored, and ready to get to work. I am excited about the opportunity to work with my colleagues on important matters affecting the City of Homewood.”

Mr. Wright is a shareholder in the firm of Sirote & Permutt working with families in probate administration especially those with estates with estate, gift or income tax implications. He also represents trust institutions and beneficiaries in trust and estate litigation. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Wright is the recipient of the AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell, a reflection of having achieved preeminent status in the areas of professional skill and integrity.
