Sirote Attorney David Mellon To Serve On Fraud Prevention Panel

Birmingham, Alabama, July 7, 2009 – David R. Mellon, a shareholder with the law firm of Sirote & Permutt, has been invited to serve on a panel of speakers before the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. As a panel member, Mr. Mellon will address fraud prevention and how employers may better understand, recognize and implement a plan to safeguard against factors that put businesses at risk. The seminar is scheduled for July 23 at the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce.

At Sirote, Mr. Mellon is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group where his practice includes litigation, all aspects of labor and employment claims, civil rights claims, worker’s compensation claims, and privacy and identity theft litigation. Mr. Mellon earned his JD from Cumberland School of Law and his BA from Indiana University.
