Sirote Partner Levitt to Speak at ABA Tax Section Mid-Winter Meeting in Las Vegas

Ronald A. Levitt., a shareholder in the firm of Sirote & Permutt, P.C., will be speaking at the American Bar Association Tax Section’s upcoming Mid-Winter Meeting in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Levitt will make presentations to both the Closely Held Business Committee and the S Corporation Committee on updates in the S Corp tax laws.
At Sirote, Mr. Levitt’s practice focuses on assisting clients with closely held businesses in dealing with complicated corporate and tax issues. He is a nationally recognized expert on these topics, speaking at numerous conferences and seminars annually.
In addition to his role as a frequent lecturer, Mr. Levitt is also involved in the Birmingham community, serving in leadership positions with such organizations as the Birmingham Jewish Federation, the Levite Jewish Community Center, the NCCJ, the Helen Keller Foundation and Mitchell’s Place.
Mr. Levitt earned his JD from the University of Alabama School of Law, a Bachelor’s of Science degree and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Alabama, and a LLM in Taxation from the University of Florida.
