Mason Davis Featured in the Birmingham News

J. Mason Davis, a Sirote & Permutt, PC shareholder, was the featured guest speaker at The Rotary Club of Birmingham’s weekly membership meeting on Aug. 29, 2012. 

Joseph Ritchey, a Sirote & Permutt, PC shareholder,l introduced Mr. Davis, who shared his personal testimony about growing up and forming a family business in the time of a segregated Birmingham.

Mr. Davis is deeply committed to the promotion of religious and racial tolerance in our community. He was involved in some of the most significant controversies in the civil rights struggle and was pictured on the cover of Time magazine in recognition of his conspicuous contributions in advancing racial reconciliation.

At Sirote, Mr. Davis has a long, distinguished career representing clients in business, antitrust, securities and product liability litigation, as well as life, health and surety company defense. He also has extensive experience before Insurance Regulatory Departments and Commissions and has participated in numerous trials in both state and federal courts. He previously served as President of the Birmingham Bar Association and on the Board of Bar Commissioners for the Alabama State Bar.
