Sirote & Permutt Attorneys to Speak at Alabama Treasury Management Association Meeting
Sirote & Permutt attorneys Cynthia Ransburg-Brown, Jay G. Maples and Andy Andrews will be the featured speakers for the Alabama Treasury Management Association (ATMA) membership meeting. Their presentations will focus on the basics of the recent Health Care Reform Law, and the Supreme Court decision, as well as the impact of the employers. The meeting will take place on March 28 at 11:30 am and will be held at Vulcan Park and Museum in Birmingham, Ala.

ATMA is a nonprofit, professional association that provides a forum for treasury and cash management professionals to exchange ideas in an informal and educational environment. The association has a membership of more than 100 treasury professionals and treasury service providers in Alabama.
ABOUT CYNTHIA RANSBURG-BROWN
Ransburg-Brown is a member of the Health Care Law practice at Sirote & Permutt. She advises numerous physicians, physician groups and health care organizations on matters involving regulatory issues, entity formation and operations. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Health Care Law at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Health Related Professions. Ransburg-Brown is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Health Care Law. She earned her JD from Cumberland School of Law and her BS from Northeast Louisiana University.
ABOUT JAY G. MAPLES
As a member of the Corporate and Tax practice group at Sirote, Maples focuses his legal practice on the business and tax needs of his clients. Prior to practicing law, Maples was a certified public accountant. Maples has been listed as a Birmingham Magazine “Top Attorney” for Tax Law. He earned his LLM in Taxation from New York University, his JD from the University of Alabama School of Law and his BS from Auburn University.
ABOUT ANDY ANDREWS
Andrews practices with the Corporate and Tax practice group and Health Care Group at Sirote. He advises clients in the areas of general business & tax, and health care regulatory issues. Prior to practicing law, Andrews worked as a certified public accountant in the tax group of a national accounting firm. He earned his JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law, his Master of Accounting from Kenan-Flagler Business School and his BA from the University of North Carolina.
