Cullen Brown to Speak at NonProfit University
Sirote & Permutt attorney Cullen Brown will speak about board membership at the NonProfit University (NPU) luncheon on June 12, 2014. Brown’s program will cover, “Board Basics: Understanding My Legal and Fiduciary Duties as a Board Member.”
The Alabama Association of Nonprofits is sponsoring the luncheon and is presented by Dr. Jeremy Thornton, coordinator of the Social Entrepreneurship Program at Samford University.
Brown received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and earned his B.A. at the University of Alabama where he graduated magna cum laude. While at UA School of Law, Brown served as an articles editor for the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. Most recently, he served as an associate attorney in commercial litigation at McGlinchey Stafford, P.L.L.C. in New Orleans. He also worked as an associate attorney for Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, P.L.C.
