Former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Thomas A. Woodall Appointed by Sirote & Permutt to Head its Mediation and Arbitration Practice Group
Sirote & Permutt, P.C. is pleased to announce that Judge Thomas A. Woodall has been selected to lead the firm’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Practice Group. The ADR Practice Group provides a full range of mediation and arbitration services to lawyers and their clients to aid them in obtaining quicker, creative and less costly resolutions of their disputes as an alternative to proceeding through the time, risks and expense of litigation.
Judge Woodall is also Chair of the firm’s Appellate Practice Group, and he will continue to concentrate his practice on providing Appellate and Mediation services. Other members of the ADR Practice Group are Robert R. Baugh, George M. “Jack” Neal, Jr., Barry A. Ragsdale, Joseph T. Ritchey and Roderic G. Steakley.
The ADR Practice Group will now conduct all of its mediations and arbitrations on the 5th floor of the firm’s offices.
“Moving to the 5th floor gives us full access to the wide range of resources our primary offices have to offer,” says Justice Woodall. “We have ample, spacious and secure conference and small meeting rooms, paralegal services, and refreshments, including meals. We make every effort to assure the comfort of the participants as we all work toward the common goal of resolving their disputes.”
