Maury Shevin and Andy Saag Presenters at CLE Alabama Seminar
Maurice L. Shevin and Andrew W. Saag, attorneys at the law firm of Sirote & Permutt, were featured presenters at a Continuing Legal Education seminar for CLE Alabama on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011. The seminar provided key updates and top trends in banking law. Shevin discussed Title X of the Dodd-Frank Act while Saag explored foreclosure and workout issues in Alabama.
At Sirote, Shevin serves as counsel for trade associations, financial institutions and business clients, advising them with respect to business and industry concerns. He advises numerous local, regional and national real estate, finance and consumer credit clients with respect to federal and state consumer credit protection laws, rules and regulations. His practice also includes assisting clients in legislative analysis and drafting, financing, and the purchase and sale of businesses and business assets.
Saag's practice focuses on the mortgage banking industry. He represents national mortgage lenders, servicers and investors in the areas of mortgage banking law, foreclosure law and title insurance law.
