Sirote's Lenora W. Pate Serves on Women's Business Council Meeting Panel
Lenora W. Pate, shareholder at Sirote & Permutt P.C., served on a discussion panel at the Women’s Business Council meeting on April 1, 2014, in Birmingham, Ala.
Pate joined Judge Helen Shores Lee and Suzanne Durham for a panel discussion titled “How They Did It: Making the Ask.”
Pate chairs the Health Care Consulting practice at Sirote & Permutt. In this capacity, she advises all types of health care providers, institutions, practices, professionals, businesses and related associations on their business and legal needs, including federal and state regulatory issues. Additionally, she has significant experience in the areas of government and public policy, including state certificates of need, licensure, and state and federal health care legislative and regulatory matters. Pate, a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated attorney, is active in statewide government issues and a former Director of the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations. She presently serves as Chair of the Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform, Inc., a state wide grassroots organization dedicated to reforming Alabama’s outdated and fundamentally flawed 1901 Constitution. Pate is a summa cum laude graduate of Cumberland School of Law, where she earned her JD, and of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned her BA and MA. She is also a former teacher and counselor in the Birmingham Public Schools, and is a frequent speaker on a host of public, legal, religious and women’s issues.
