Sirote & Permutt Attorneys Samuel Friedman and Maurice Shevin Present CFPB Compliance Series Webinar
Sirote & Permutt, P.C. is pleased to announce that the second installment of the Sirote CFPB Compliance Series, a series of presentations on federal law compliance topics hosted by attorneys Samuel Friedman and Maurice Shevin, will be held on April 2, 2015, at 9 a.m.
Available both in person at the Sirote & Permutt office and via simulcast, this series of focused presentations is a resource for employees of consumer finance creditors, providing easy to understand, real world summaries and overviews of Federal law. The April 2 installment will focus on the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and what the CFPB expects from creditors. The presentations are anticipated to last approximately two hours. Friedman and Shevin are members of the firm’s Banking & Finance practice group, and they advise consumer finance companies on how to remain compliant with federal and state laws, in addition to consumer credit protection laws, rules and regulations.
