Sirote & Permutt, P.C. was honored to be selected by Chambers and Partners to contribute an article in the 2018 Global Practice Guide on Corporate M&A Trends and Developments in the USA. The article addresses M&A trends in 2018 such as convergence (the acquisition by one company of another company in a different but related industry), the impact of the recently enacted Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, interest in US companies by foreign companies and the potential impact of increased scrutiny by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US, and continued M&A activity in the healthcare and biomedical industries.
