Sirote Attorneys Ronald Levitt and Brad Sklar to Speak about LLC's at ASCPA Webinar
The law firm of Sirote & Permutt, P.C. is pleased to present a webinar series about tax legal issues for the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).
In collaboration with the ASCPA, Sirote attorneys Ronald Levitt and Brad Sklar will present the topic, “Use of State Law LLC’s as S Corporations” on September 11, 2013. They will discuss the tax advantages of operating as an S Corporation, rather than as a partnership, for federal tax purposes; the non-tax advantages of operating as an LLC for state law purposes; and other special tax considerations that apply to the operation of a state law LLC as an S Corporation for federal tax purposes.
The webinar is approved for Continuing Education Credit by the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy. To register for any webinar of the series, visit www.ascpa.org.
