Sirote's Don Johnson to Speak About 1031 Exchanges at ASCPA Webinar

The law firm of Sirote & Permutt, P.C. is pleased to present a webinar series about tax legal issues for the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).

In collaboration with the ASCPA, Sirote corporate tax attorney Don Johnson will present the topic, “1031 Exchanges” on August 21, 2013. He will address the requirements for successfully completing a 1031 like-kind exchange.

Johnson counsels business owners and corporations in the areas of M&A’s, tax litigation, business organization for corporations and partnerships, and tax and business planning. He assists clients in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing transactions. Mr. Johnson works closely with business entities on state and local tax matters including incentive opportunities. Mr. Johnson is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Tax Law and is a frequent speaker on corporate taxation issues. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Federal Tax Clinic.
